Action for the Civil Society (AfCS) organised the kick-off meeting of the PLASTY project in Athens, marking the official launch of its activities. As the organisation that developed the project proposal, AfCS welcomed the participants and presented the project’s main objectives and next steps.

A central topic of the meeting was the development of the PLASTY Model, an innovative methodology combining artistic creation with the reuse of plastic and other recyclable materials.

Participants exchanged ideas on creating artworks and creative constructions from materials that would otherwise become waste. They also discussed educational activities designed to promote environmental awareness, creativity and the principles of the circular economy.

The kick-off meeting established the foundations for a meaningful and creative collaboration, with the shared objective of transforming recyclable materials into tools for artistic expression, learning and positive environmental change.
