Action for Civil Society Participates in the GAMEY Project Meeting in Uppsala
Action for Civil Society participated in the international meeting of the GAMEY project, which took place in Uppsala, Sweden, from 31 March to 1 April 2026.
GAMEY is a project co-funded by the European Union, aiming to strengthen young people’s financial literacy through reliable, free, and accessible educational resources. At a time when young people are often exposed to unverified advice and questionable online information about money management, GAMEY offers a meaningful and responsible alternative.
As part of the project, a free education and training platform has been developed and is available here:

During the meeting in Uppsala, partners from Sweden, Slovenia, Bulgaria, and Italy worked together over two productive days, exchanging ideas, experiences, and suggestions for the further development of the platform.
The discussions focused on strengthening financial education for young people, using innovative learning methods, and applying gamification as a tool to make learning more engaging and effective.
Through GAMEY, young people are supported in better understanding key financial concepts, developing money management skills, and gaining greater confidence in their financial decisions.
Action for Civil Society continues to actively contribute to the project, supporting initiatives that empower young people and promote access to quality, free, and trustworthy knowledge.
The next steps of the GAMEY project will be shared soon.
