The Civic Nest is a growing network space created to support and empower small, grassroots NGOs working at the frontlines of civil society. Launched by Action for the Civil Society, it was born from a simple truth: many of the most impactful local organizations operate in isolation, with limited access to resources, partnerships, or visibility.

We believe that lasting change starts from the ground up. And like a real nest, The Civic Nest offers a space of care, structure, and potential—a place where early-stage efforts can be nurtured, where trust can be built, and where new ideas can grow into collective action.
