YouthEcoResilience

Description

The YouthEcoResilience (Y.E.R.) project promotes intercultural dialogue among young people from Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa to address climate-driven migration and strengthen community resilience. Through virtual exchanges, youth workers and young participants explore the links between climate change, migration, and human security, while sharing practices for inclusion and climate justice.

  1. Build their capacity to analyse and address the challenges faced by young people affected by climate-driven migration.

  2. Equip youth with knowledge and tools to promote environmental awareness and take action within their communities.

  3. Help youth workers create supportive, inclusive environments for young migrants from Sub-Saharan Africa.

  1. Online training and dialogue sessions on climate change, climate migration, inclusion, and human security.

  2. Engagement of young people in awareness campaigns, environmental initiatives, and climate justice projects.

  3. Collaborative discussions where youth workers share strategies, tools, and methods for supporting climate-affected youth.
