Description
GOALS – Global Action and Learning for Sustainability is an Erasmus+ Small-scale Partnership in School Education that brings together partners from Poland, Greece, Romania, and Türkiye to promote environmental awareness, green skills, and sustainable habits among students, teachers, and youth workers. The project uses game-based learning, digital collaboration, eco-clubs, workshops, and international activities to make environmental education more practical, engaging, and inclusive.
- To increase students’ environmental awareness through interactive and game-based learning.
- To integrate environmental education into school curricula in an engaging and practical way.
- To create and share an Eco Games Guide for teachers and educators.
- To train teachers and youth workers in innovative methods for teaching sustainability.
- To promote international cooperation through eTwinning and joint sustainability projects.
- To develop students’ green skills, digital competences, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Preparatory Work, Framework Development and Branding: partners will develop the framework of the Eco Games Guide, create curriculum integration strategies, design the project logo and branding materials, and set up the project’s digital presence.
- Renewable Energy Champions: a mobility activity in Poland focused on renewable energy, solar and wind energy workshops, community projects, and the development of content for the “Renewable Energy Games” section of the Eco Games Guide.
- Zero Waste for a Green Future: a mobility activity in Türkiye focused on waste reduction, recycling, creative reuse of materials, zero-waste games, and practical eco-friendly habits.
- Nurturing Biodiversity through Education: a mobility activity in Greece focused on biodiversity, marine pollution, conservation actions, species identification, creative recycling, and the development of eco-action plans.
- Sustainable Futures: Empowering Educators for Climate Action: a training activity in Romania that will support teachers in understanding climate change, using climate simulation games, integrating sustainable living practices into lessons, and planning school climate action projects.
