Description
The BRAVE – Building Respect and Anti-Violence Education project aims to create safer, more inclusive school environments by strengthening teachers’ capacities to prevent bullying and cyberbullying. Through international collaboration, professional training, Web 2.0 tools, digital storytelling, and wellbeing-focused activities, the project equips educators with modern strategies to foster respect, digital citizenship, and student wellbeing. The project also develops guidebooks, policies, and digital resources to support long-term change in schools.
- Enhance teachers’ skills to foster inclusive school cultures and respectful interactions among students.
- Equip educators with evidence-based strategies to reduce bullying incidents and create safer learning environments.
- Improve teachers’ and students’ digital literacy, online safety skills, and understanding of cyberbullying risks.
- Support educators in using modern digital tools (Web 2.0, digital storytelling, online platforms) for safer and more interactive learning.
- Capacity-building sessions across partner countries focusing on bullying prevention, cyberbullying awareness, Web 2.0 tools, digital safety, and inclusive classroom practices.
- Workshops where educators learn to use digital storytelling, multimedia tools, and interactive methods to address bullying and promote respectful behaviour.
- Training modules that strengthen teacher and student wellbeing, promote social–emotional learning, and use physical activities to build safe and supportive school climates.
