ODYSSEAS – Open Decentralized System for Safe and Ethical Journalism

Description

ODYSSEAS – Open Decentralized System for Safe and Ethical Journalism is a 12-month project that addresses the growing challenge of misinformation and the loss of trust in digital news content, intensified by generative AI and manipulated audiovisual material. The project develops an open, decentralized platform that enables citizens and journalists to securely upload, verify, and share news-related photos and videos using advanced technologies such as C2PA standards, blockchain, and AI-based misinformation detection tools.
