The Action for the Civil Society proudly participated in the first international training activity of the (D) DAYS project, held in the charming town of Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal.

This milestone event brought together experts and educators from across Europe to promote inclusion through expressive and physical education in secondary schools.

🎭💃🎨🧘‍♀️⚽ Inclusive Training for Teachers

Our organization was represented by two expert trainers:

  • A specialist in Yoga for inclusion

  • A specialist in Inclusive Sports

Partner organizations contributed with professionals in Drama, Dance, and Art, creating a rich, interdisciplinary environment.

The training aimed to equip secondary school teachers with practical tools and inclusive methodologies, enabling them to design and deliver group activities that include students with and without special needs.

✅ Training Objectives & Results

During the training:

  • Each expert led hands-on sessions showcasing practical applications

  • Teachers developed two inclusive 45-minute activity sessions

  • These activities will be implemented in schools participating in the project

🔹 Goal: To design 4 inclusive group activities
🔹 Achieved: The first 2 sessions were created during this training
🔹 Next: The remaining 2 will be co-developed during the second training in Athens, Greece (September 2025)

This project represents a vibrant and meaningful cross-border collaboration that uses movement, creativity, and expression to foster inclusion and empowerment among Europe’s youth.

We are honored to contribute to this effort and look forward to the next steps!
