We are pleased to announce that the CIVIC project has officially started, with the successful implementation of its kick-off meeting in Leuven, Belgium.
CIVIC is an important initiative aiming to create a broad ecosystem of cooperation, participation, and learning, bringing together 2,500 young people from the European Union and the Western Balkans. More specifically, the project will connect young people from Belgium and Greece, as well as from Albania, Kosovo, and Bosnia.
Through digital spaces, interactive activities, live online meetings, and the exchange of knowledge and experiences, the project aims to strengthen young people’s skills and participation at European and interregional level.
Participants will have the opportunity to develop important competences, including digital skills, critical thinking towards media, intercultural communication, and active civic participation.
At the same time, the project will create opportunities for dialogue, cooperation, and mutual understanding among young people from different countries and communities.
The kick-off meeting in Leuven marked the first important step in this shared journey. Partners had the opportunity to discuss the project’s objectives, activities, and next steps, laying the foundations for meaningful and effective cooperation.
CIVIC begins a promising journey of collaboration, inclusion, and active participation, with the aim of empowering young people and strengthening connections between Europe and the Western Balkans.
More updates about the next steps of the project will be shared soon.
